Rangelands Natural Resource Management Coordinating Group (NRM)

Dust Up Projects is contracted to deliver the Community Landcare Coordinator position for the Gascoyne Murchison regions.  This contract involves supporting the involvement of Landcare, primary industry organisations and other volunteer groups in sustainable resource use at the regional and local level.

 

Department of Water

Our consultancy has been contracted to manage a Natural Heritage Trust project focusing on erosion control works in the Roderick and Wooramel catchments.  This contract involves all project reporting and inspections.


Department of Agriculture and Food Western Australia (DAFWA)

Dust Up Projects is contracted to deliver on the marketing, communications and specific property planning aspects of the ‘Gascoyne Catchments Project’, a project which is run by the Ecologically Sustainable Rangelands Management (ESRM) program through DAFWA.  This contract includes, but is not limited to, developing media releases, newspaper articles, a marketing and communications plan and coordinating communications between the delivery organisation and the industry groups.


Carnarvon Police and Citizens Youth Club

In 2007 Dust Up Projects developed the funding submissions to numerous bodies including Regional Events WA, Shire of Carnarvon and the Gascoyne Development Commission to help fund the Carnarvon 2007 Extreme Festival.  This festival involved free- style motocross events, bands, food stalls, games and a bar.


Saxon Agricultural Services

Dust Up Projects developed the project proposal for a New Industries Development Program to fund the development of a market- ready product for the horticultural industry.  The success of this project has been realised with the final product currently being sold nationwide through large hardware chains.

 

Lyndon Land Conservation District Committee (LCDC)

Dust Up Projects undertakes all secretarial works for the Lyndon LCDC; a committee that is extensively involved in both the landcare movement as well as  the enhancement of the biodiversity and productive viability of the southern rangelands.

 

Sweeter Banana Co-Op

Dust Up Projects has been contracted as the Environmental Best Practice Facilitator. This role involves developing the Best Practice Manual for the Co-Op in consultation with its 37 members, Government agencies and the Carnarvon LCDC.

 

Other projects

Smaller scale contracts include the development and acquittal of Envirofund applications for individual landholders, development of Pastoral Water Grant and Community Water Grant applications for indigenous and non- indigenous landowners and the development of letters to Government bodies on land tenure.
